The directory, rankings and guides are general information. They are not tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, and using the site does not create a client relationship with accounting8 or with any firm listed. Get advice for your situation from a licensed professional.
Listings
Firm listings are compiled from public sources and can be incomplete or out of date. A listing is not an endorsement, and accounting8 does not verify licenses, credentials or the quality of any firm’s work. Check a firm’s license with the state board before you hire it. Ratings and review counts are Google’s and are shown as Google reports them.
Practices for sale
Practice listings are based on what sellers report and are not verified by accounting8. accounting8 is not a business broker, is not a party to any sale, and does not value practices, give deal advice or draft agreements. Buyers and sellers should do their own due diligence and use their own advisers.
Other websites
The site links to firms’ websites, government sources and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site in a way that disrupts it, including automated requests at a volume that burdens the server, and do not republish the directory as a whole. Quoting a page with a link to it is fine.
Content
The site’s text, design and the compilation of the directory belong to accounting8. Firm names and trademarks belong to their owners.
No warranty; limit of liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, accounting8 is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including decisions to hire a firm or to buy or sell a practice.
